Training Opportunities

Training opportunities are offered to all statutory and voluntary services working with young people, thus enabling stronger partnership links between organisations and sharing of good work practice. The route also includes the All Wales Coherent training route leading to professional qualifications for workers if they so wish.

Key Skills In Youth Work
This course has gained Open College Network validation and is a prerequisite to accessing the Foundation In Youth Work Course.

Qualifying Courses
Workers can access further HE qualifications via the following agencies: UWN Newport; UWIC Cardiff; NEWI, North Wales. The Youth Service can advise on courses available and which route best suits an individual.
